Can someone recommend where I can buy/find any Japanese city/landscape guide/tour/street walking on Blu-Ray?

I saw something a while back on Blu-ray that featured a walk around the streets of Tokyo and other Japanese cities. I don’t recall the name. Just need something to either watch and relax or have looping on my Hi Def TV.

watch high definition tv online
can you watch high definition TV online?

I just bought my first Plasma TV the other day and have signed up to receive all the HD channels. The only problem is my digital cable only offers like 5 channels. Is there any place online you can stream HD TV? I’m just trying to get more channel options…any thoughts?

If you are in the cities of US/Canada you can Install a HDTV tuner card that has the ATSC tuner and you can see free HDTV being broadcast in air with an antenna . In toronto there are atleast 6-10 channels.

how high definition television works

The Expansion of High Definition Television

<!– @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } –>

Only a short while ago, High Definition TV was only available to a select few. The technology was seen as something for only those who had state-of the art entertainment systems and sought to show it off to their friends. But as with many new products, the exclusivity of the service soon reached the masses, and before anyone knew it, the most advanced and highest quality TV experience was available to virtually everyone and anyone who wanted it.

If you take a moment to consider the various revolutions in product development, you’ll realize that the trend is not uncommon. Think about the first video game systems as well as portable communication devices. To think that only a short time ago people were using pagers and saving their quarters for payphones to make those return calls. Imagine using a payphone these days and most people will simply laugh at the prospect. The truth is that we’ve become so accustomed to our modern usage and dependence on technology that it comes to us as second nature. The quickness with which this phenomenon has taken hold in our lives is unbelievable.

The same thing is true of advances in home entertainment systems. When satellite TV was first introduced, for example, it seemed that it would never be affordable or as widely available as it would become. Now, families across America are adamant subscribers of the service and many couldn’t dream of going back to cable. Why is this the case you ask? For one, market demand has pushed the various providers to come up with more flexible services. They’ve had to increase the quantities of dishes and hardware in order to meet the needs of their clients. As a result, the price has been driven down dramatically. Thus, you find that in many homes these days, HD has made its way into the family vocabulary.

Depending on whom you ask, high definition television is being viewed in a number of ways with an array of different motivations. For some, the quality of a movie watching experience is simply too good to pass up. Others find that watching sports has been taken to an entirely new level. Still others will advocate that the clarity in nature shows makes them recall their days as child, curious minds and eager for knowledge. No matter the case, HD is becoming more and more popular as its availability and price continue to become agreeable factors.

More than ever, we are finding that new technological services are becoming fixtures in the American home. From vehicles equipped with a GPS to portable devices for every member of the family, the expansion of advanced technology is unstoppable. As the chain of supply and demand continues to work in favor of this trend, it shouldn’t be surprising to think that most everyone will be a subscriber of these new and totally affordable services.
