Explain HDTV Contrast Ratio: 1100:1 (Typical), 5500:1 (w/DCR)?
I was gone for a while and when I came back, my roomate got an HDTV with Contrast Ratio: 1100:1 (Typical), 5500:1 (w/DCR). Now I just got me my own HDTV with 5000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, does he have to do something special to get his better? or is his just better than mine? as much as you can tell me is great
They say that the contrast ratio really isnt’ a good indicator anway so I’d say it doesnt’ matter
